How we work
From UX research to a working dashboard.
A short, honest process that respects your team's time and gets a usable dashboard in front of them quickly.
We start with conversations. Short interviews with the people who will live in the dashboard, plus the leaders who want the answers out of it. That sits alongside a look at any existing reports, exports and spreadsheets so we understand the complex data behind the scenes before suggesting a shape for it.
Next we sketch. Wireframes are quick, cheap to change, and stop us getting attached to layouts that do not work. Once the shape is right we move to high fidelity mockups so you can see the real typography, charts and spacing. This is where dashboard UI and ui ux design choices get made together, not bolted on later by someone tidying up the build.
Then we build. Most of our work lands in Power BI because that is what UK businesses already have, but the same approach holds for a SaaS dashboard, an internal admin tool or a customer facing analytics dashboard. We hook the design up to the data, write the measures, set up role based views so each person sees their own slice, and put it in front of real users before launch.
Finally we test, adjust and hand over. You get a short walkthrough video, a light style guide and a clear list of what to do next if you want to extend it yourselves.
