Power BI Support & Implementation

Power BI support and implementation, without the big firm overhead.

Whether you need a new Power BI implementation delivered end to end, or ongoing Power BI support for a platform you already rely on, we work as a small, senior team. Clear response times, sensible pricing, and consultants who actually own the outcome.

Power BI support specialist reviewing dashboards on dual monitors

Power BI is easy to get started with and surprisingly easy to outgrow. Most teams we speak to have a mix of the two problems: a couple of workspaces someone built two years ago that nobody wants to touch, and a wishlist of new reports the internal team never quite gets to. Our Power BI support and implementation service is designed around exactly that reality.

We do two things well. We deliver new Power BI implementations cleanly and hand them over properly, and we look after existing estates for teams who want a senior partner on call without hiring another head. Both come with named consultants, agreed response times and a monthly rhythm that keeps things moving.

  • • New reports and small enhancements

How we help

Two services, one team.

Power BI implementation

New tenants, first workspaces, first warehouse, migrations from legacy tools. We deliver the initial platform, the first two or three business critical dashboards, and the governance to keep it healthy. Typical first phase is six to twelve weeks.

Managed Power BI support

A retained monthly agreement covering incidents, small changes and a regular platform review. Named consultants, ticket tracking, a shared backlog and a monthly review call. Sized to your estate, not a bloated retainer.

Support that people actually use

Clear response times. Sensible prices.

Response times

Critical incidents within one hour during business hours. Standard tickets within one business day. Backlog items scheduled into the next sprint. Nothing sits in a queue for a week.

Governance built in

Every support agreement includes quarterly platform reviews covering security, workspace hygiene, dataset health and licence usage. The boring work that keeps the platform trustworthy.

Named consultants

You get the same two or three people every time. They learn your data model, your team and your reporting rhythm. No ticket lottery.

Break/fix included

Refresh failures, gateway issues, DAX behaving oddly, permissions puzzles. Included in the monthly fee up to a fair usage cap. No nickel and diming.

Continuous improvement

A shared backlog of small enhancements. Each month a portion of the retainer goes on new work, so the platform keeps getting better rather than just staying alive.

One line escalation

For bigger incidents you get a single WhatsApp or Teams channel with the senior team, not an inbox nobody watches. If something is on fire we know quickly.

How a Power BI implementation runs

A predictable four stage delivery.

Most Power BI implementation projects we run follow the same rhythm. Short discovery, a proper foundation, one or two production dashboards, then handover. Nothing exotic; the value is in doing each stage carefully.

01

Discovery

Two to three workshops with the decision owners. We agree the audience, the reports and the metrics that matter, and audit the data sources.

02

Foundation

Tenant setup, workspaces, gateway, security model, a first star schema. Boring, essential, and where most projects that fail actually go wrong.

03

First dashboards

One or two production dashboards built end to end. Sanity checked with the business, iterated once, then promoted to the production workspace.

04

Handover

Documentation, a short training session and the choice to move on to a managed support agreement. No lock in, no mystery.

Get started

A short call is usually enough to know if we are a fit.

Send us a note about your Power BI estate or the implementation you are planning, and we will come back with a plain English recommendation. If a full engagement is not needed, we will tell you.
