Every one of them is sitting on numbers in Excel, Xero, HubSpot, Sage, Shopify or a line of business system, and most of those numbers never quite make it into a clear weekly view. We start small. One report, one question, one team. Usually we will sit down with you for an hour, look at what you currently send round on a Friday, and rebuild it properly in Power BI so it updates on its own. From there we can take on the rest of your reporting and data visualisation work or move into proper interactive dashboards for the leadership team. We do not push you into a twelve month engagement before we have proved we can be useful. If the first piece does not save you time, you do not need to carry on.
A lot of our Manchester work is hybrid. We are happy to come into the office in town for a kick off, then carry on remotely so we are not eating into your budget with travel. If your team would rather build the skills in house, our Power BI training and support sessions can run on site or over Teams, and they are pitched at the level of the people in the room rather than at a generic curriculum. Most groups end up with a small block of training paired with a few hours of ongoing support each month, which is usually enough to keep things moving without paying for a full time analyst.
One of the things Manchester teams tend to bring up early is that their data lives in several different places. The CRM, the finance system, the e-commerce platform, a handful of operational tools, plus the inevitable shared drive full of spreadsheets. Power BI handles that mixture well. We can connect to most of the systems already in common use, blend the data together and present a single view that does not need anyone to copy and paste anything on a Monday morning. The point is not to look clever. The point is that nobody has to argue about whose number is the right one.
We also spend a fair bit of time on the boring stuff that makes a Power BI setup last. Naming things consistently, documenting where every figure comes from, building the model so it can be picked up by somebody else if a key person moves on. None of that shows up in a screenshot, but it is what stops a report from quietly breaking six months in.
